Sepp Blatter said on Tuesday he resigned from the presidency of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), and after four days of his re-election for a fifth term.

There have been reports of took over the presidency of FIFA Issa Hayatou, President of the African Union, and a member of FIFA's executive committee, but Blatter himself in to resolve the dispute when he announced the continuation of doing things even until the election of a new president.
Blatter said he would discuss with the Executive Office of the General Assembly the possibility of convening an extraordinary meeting soon to elect a new president.
Blatter was re-elected after the withdrawal of the only challenger Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein of Jordan after losing in the first round of voting.
Blatter said: "What concerns me the most is football all over the world."
He continued: "There will be an extraordinary conference to elect my successor as soon as possible."
